Gift of Thanks/Classroom Donations

Holiday Giving Opportunities

Please consider providing community support over the holiday season and/or expressing your gratitude to a Cooper Mountain staff member with a donation to their classroom!

~Community Support~

Given the challenges facing our community at this time, we would like to offer meal support to families over the coming holiday break in December. (Holiday gift support is being generously provided by Mountainside High School!) 100% of any donations earmarked for Community Support will go to provide meals. Thank you for considering this new giving option for 2020!

~Classroom Enhancement Donations~

Give to any teacher or staff member for the holidays (or any time!) to show your gratitude for all the hard work they do. Donations will be spent on classroom enhancements and supplies, donations to Mrs. Montelongo will go to the Sunshine Fund, and donations to Mrs. Klepper and Mrs. Newton will go to front office and production supplies.

Employer matching

Employer matching can be applied to both giving options above. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 is Giving Tuesday, a day during which many companies provide double matching for donations, and a great way to stretch your generous gift even further! For Community Support donations, please email proof of matching to so we can be sure to account for this additional donation when purchasing food! For Gift of Thanks, donations from families will go to the teacher intended and all employer matching funds will be pooled and divided across all staff.

Payment Options

1. Donations can be sent through PayPal using the button on the PTO website In the “add a note” section on the final screen please be sure to call out your giving option (Community Support or Gift of Thanks & Teacher/Staff Member name; if giving to both please specify how to allocate the funds.)

2. You can send a check to Cooper Mountain Elementary, 7670 SW 170th Avenue Beaverton, OR 97007. Please include a note about how to allocate your donation.

*For community support we would like to ask that all donations be complete by Friday, December 4, 2020 so we can arrange for food/gift card shopping and delivery prior to the holiday break.*

On behalf of families, teachers and staff at Cooper Mountain, thank you so much for your generosity this holiday season!
